Downtown Boynton Beach turns into an interactive experience unlike any other. 


May/June, 2020 –  Unveiling of world-renowned kinetic sculptor Ralfonso created “Reflections”, a gateway feature for the City’s Town Square redevelopment project, marking the new centennial for the City. The twenty-one 3′ to 11’ long bird-like wings rotate on the 27’ H x 26’ W sculpture fabricated by EES Designs. This stainless steel artwork reflects nature by day and is colorfully lit at night. The wings intersect, representing the City’s diversity and unity. Three zen-shaped seating walls provide sculpture viewing and a community-gathering place. 123 E Ocean Ave.

July 21, 2020 – “Synesthesia” by Donald Gialanella is unveiled. This artwork plaza is interactive during the day engaging all generations and abilities with vibrant sounds and surface reflections. At night, it emits ambiance with soothing sounds and ever-changing light. 129 E Ocean Ave.

October 2020 – 2021 –12 large-scale kinetic artworks are installed along Avenue of the Arts, from the Town Square to the Boynton Harbor Marina, bringing vibrancy to downtown Boynton. Kinetic art connections continue with digital and technological experiences that take place during FREE docent led exhibit tours.

Sat & Sun, Feb. 6 & 7, 2021 – Art and technology collide with numerous kinetic art, immersive, and interactive art experiences. Indoor kinetic artworks will be exhibited in the new Cultural Center’s expansive hall. Attendees can participate in engaging programming, international artist meet and greets, and inspiring workshops and lectures. Cultural Center, 125 E Ocean Ave.
